One Man Proved the F40 Could Hit 320 km/h

In 1990, Toru Kirikae, president of the Ferrari Owners Club Japan,
set out to prove whether the F40’s claimed top speed of 320 km/h was real.
He attempted the challenge at the Yatabe test track and later on the Jōban Expressway,
where he finally reached 320 km/h, proving Ferrari’s claim to be true.
However, after the footage spread through the media, he was arrested and fined
