Yakuza Assaulted a Reporter working for an Osaka Newspaper back in 1989. It is said that assaulted person was a friend of previous Prime Minister of Japan - Fumio Kishida (岸田 文雄). This is a short documentary of the incident, depicting that yakuza did not only fight among themselves, but also, from time to time, pick on regular civilians. Nowadays it happens even more often.
