During our 10 day backpacking trip this year, we visited an off-trail lake far in the backcountry of Yosemite National Park. We like this lake because in years past it always had a very strong population of brook trout. This year the fish were all gone! We found some gill nets and realized the national park was responsible for killing all of the fish.
