How to Do the Around the World (Soccer/Football Freestyle Trick)

Become Elite's Ultimate Guide to Performing the Around the World.

The Around the World is a football/soccer/futbol trick that involves juggling the ball and while doing so, moving your foot completely over and back under the ball before it touches the ground.

Trick Overview:
1. Start with alternating, below knee juggles.
2. When ready, hit the ball on the side to produce a slight side spin and hit it just below waist height.
3. As you do so, continue your path inwards and upwards.
4. When the ball is at it's highest point, your leg should be completely over the ball.
5. Quickly bring your foot back under the ball on the opposite side, slow your foot, and catch it before it hits the ground.
6. Make sure to practice!

Learning Overview:
1. Start by just practicing the side sweeping kick to get used to continuing your trajectory upwards after a juggle.
2. Practice what I call Half-Around the World's off the bounce.
3. Start trying to quicken your Around the World, so that there is no need for a bounce.
4. Put it all together.
