We sailed for 24 days from the stunning and dreamy island of Bora Bora aboard our classic Monohull Sailing Boat Tela Ru to what we imagined to be another remote dreamy island of Vanuatu. (We checked into Vanuatu in Espiritu Santo.) While the remote island life is dreamy and an incredible adventure! We also discovered a "dark side" of sailing to remote places where some locals aren't too keen on playing nice! Though it certainly made the adventure on this remote island UNFORGETTABLE! We must say that that out of all the countries we've sailed to thus far, this is the first truly "bad experience" we had when it comes to this sort of thing: Sabotage!

And we will not let a few bad apples put any bad taste in our mouth for long! We still think of Vanuatu as a beautiful place with some really great islanders!
