In this video, a simple traffic light control system is simulated using PLC Ladder Logic on PLC Fiddle.
First, an introduction to Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Ladder Programming is explained.
Then, a traffic light system is designed using timers and comparison logic to control RED, YELLOW, and GREEN lights.
PLC Fiddle is used as an online PLC simulation platform to implement and test the ladder logic program.
Methodology:
1. Created input and output variables for traffic lights.
2. Used a timer to generate time intervals.
3. Compared accumulated timer values with constants.
4. Controlled RED, YELLOW, and GREEN lights based on time conditions.
5. Simulated the traffic light sequence on PLC Fiddle.
This project demonstrates a basic real-time industrial control application using PLC Ladder Programming.
