The Corax isn't a ship which I can recommend as a competitive ship, but it is underestimated for what it can bring, it struggles with dealing with a lot of kiting frigates and projection bonused Destroyers. This ship has absolutely no place outside of small FW Plexes and is less than 10m/s faster than a 1600 plate maller... ayyy lmao. You can kill some Svipuls in a Corax though, and you look like a free kill to them, so The Corax is at least useful as a Svipul Bait ship. You can kill most brawling Destroyers if you kite them efficiently and not AFK orbit like a bad like me.
