WHITE TARA MANTRA WITH WORDS 108 WISHFULFILMENT | POSITIVITY | MIND AWAKENING | DALJIT VIRK
White tara mantra is useful to enhance wisdom & intellegence & alertnes. white tara mantra gives awarenss of mind .
#mindfulness #mindful #mind #whitetaramantra #whitetaramantra (Sanskrit: Sitatara; Tibetan: Sgrol-dkar) often referred to as the Mother of all Buddhas and known for compassion, long life, healing and serenity; also known as The Wish-fulfilling Wheel, or Cintachakra . Her white color signifies purity and she provide a purest and complete form of truth and wisdom. As a variant form of Green Tara, her mantra begins very similarly. But added to the play on the name of Tara are several words connected with long life and wellbeing. White Tara Mama means “mine” and indicates that you’d like to possess these qualities of long life, merit, wisdom, happiness, etc. You can of course choose to wish these qualities for someone else — perhaps for a teacher or for a loved one who is ill.Ayuh is long life (as in Ayurvedic medicine).
Punya means the merit that comes from living life ethically, and this merit is said to help one to live long and happily.Gyana is wisdom.Punya and Guyana are known as the Two Accumulations. In order to become enlightened we need to accumulate merit (that is, to develop positive qualities through living ethically and meditating) but we also need to develop wisdom through deep reflection. Wisdom cannot arise without a basis of merit, but merit alone is not enough for us to become enlightened, meaning that becoming a nicer person isn’t enough — we have also to look deeply into ourselves and the world around us and to see the impermanent and insubstantial nature of all things.Pushtim :means wealth, abundance, or increase.Kuru is a mythical land to the north of the Himalayas, which was said to be a land of long life and happiness (it may have been the original northern home of the aryans). Perhaps the association with the mythical realm of Kuru doesn’t hurt when doing the mantra. But here the word kuru is a verb form meaning “do it!” or “make it so!” (second person singular active imperative or the root kṛ if that’s of any interest to you) which is what it means here. With this “make it so!” we’re imploring White Tara for an increase in wisdom, merit, and long life so that we can gain enlightenment and help all sentient beings.svaha is an exclamation meaning “hail” or “may blessings be upon” and is a common ending to Buddhist & Hindu mantras. So after making the rather bold request of White Tara above, we end with an equally emphatic salutation.
In iconography, White Tara often has seven eyes – in addition to the usual two, she has a third eye in the centre of her forehead and one on each of her hands and feet. This symbolizes her vigilance and ability to see all the suffering in the world.White Tara wears silk robes and scarves and her tight fitting garments leave her slender torso and rounded breasts uncovered in the manner of ancient India. Her ornaments are covered in jewels.White Tara sits with both legs crossed in the diamond lotus position, with the soles of her feet pointed upward. Her posture is one of grace and calm. Her right hand makes the boon-granting gesture and her left hand is in the protective mudra. In her left hand, White Tara holds a stem of white lotus flower between her thumb and fourth finger. The flower contains three blooms: the first is in seed and represents the past Buddha Kashyapa; the second is in full bloom and symbolizes the present Buddha Shakyamuni; the third is ready to bloom and signifies the future Buddha Maitreya. These three blooms symbolize that Tara is the essence of the Three Buddhas. As one of the three deities of long life, White Tara/Sarasvati is associated with longevity. White Tara counteracts illness and thereby helps to bring about a long life. For her disciples, White Tara is believed to help them overcome obstacles, espeically those that impediments to the practice of religion.Tara is a meditation deity whose practice is used by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism t develop certain inner qualities and understand outer, inner and secret teachings about compassion &emptiness. Tara is actually the generic name for a set of Buddhas or bodhisattvas of similar aspect. These may more properly be understood as different aspects of the same quality, as bodhisattvas are often considered metaphors for Buddhist virtues. The most widely known forms of Tārā are:
