Today, i’m talking about wasteful PR (as an ex-beauty influencer who used to receive mountains of PR). i think i’ll be able to offer an interesting take on things as someone from the inside…

For ya’ll that don’t know, PR is basically free products given to influencers with the hopes that influencers will use their products organically in at least one of their videos. A common misconception is that influencers are EXPECTED to post, but they aren’t. We’re pretty much just given stuff for free in hopes that we might post, and that never really sat well with me.

In this commentary video, i’ll be covering the controversy with poppi soda and their vending machine “PR”, the infamous tarte brand trips (and all the drama that happened with that), the hermes christmas PR controversy, and how influencers are responding to receiving PR that is …. Honestly just wasteful at this point.
