The body is a vessel for the Holy Spirit to dwell in and work through. It is a sacred temple, created by God, meant to house the divine presence and reflect His glory.
The body is not meant to be used for sinful desired or selfish purposes. It is to be offered as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. It is to be used to serve Him and others, to spread love, kindness, and compassion. Our body is a gift from God, and a tool to carry out His purposes on earth.
The soul, The breath of life is in the soul. The soul gives animation, consciousness. The soul is where our free will is exercised.
The human spirit is the divine life that that resides within each one of us. By means of the spirit we posses God-consciousness, which enables us to contact God in the spiritual realm (John 4:24, Rom.1:9) By it man is enabled to lay hold on things incomprehensible, invisible, and eternal.
