AOC Calls Out MTG for Stock Trades…Trump on Collision Course with Courts 4/15/25

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pointing out her colleague Marjorie Taylor Green as an example of the reason a ban on lawmakers trading individual stocks is necessary. A disclosure filing showed the Republican Congresswoman dropped thousands on shares in multiple companies before Trump announced a 90 day pause on tariffs. The Democrat had some harsh words:

“We saw Marjorie Taylor Greene buy that dip.
I got one question for her: How much did you make? How much did you make off of people’s despair? How much did you make off that panic? How much did you make off of that suffering?”
