This chalk giant is hiding a secret | Time Team Podcast

Dr Helen Geake and co-host Martyn Williams dig deeper into the world of archaeology. Helen was invited to the launch of Sir Tony Robinson’s new book, The House of Wolf. She’ll bring you the low down from the event and discussing Sir Tony’s inspiration for writing it.

Dr Lawrence Shaw returns to Cerne Abbas, home to one of England’s most famous landmarks, the chalk giant. He’s going behind the scenes of a new Time Team film which follows the story of the rediscovery of a lost abbey, just metres from the giant. He’ll speak to the archaeologists who’ve made exciting discoveries in an iconic location.

Time Team’s Matt Williams also features on the Cerne Abbas dig. He joins the podcast from Attingham Park in Shropshire where an excavation is underway to discover more about a huge abandoned Roman city nearby.
