Getting married in Copenhagen City Hall - document presentation process

TIf you are getting married in Copenhagen City hall you will need to present the original documents to the marriage office before your wedding.

As a foreign or international couple getting married in Denmark can be a daunting process when you have to do administration for such an important event and in a foreign country.

You will not need to submit more or different documents than you provided for your file with the Danish Agency of Family. And will be the documents below (as applicable)

Travel document (passport or EU ID)
Residency permit (if you are living in a country not your own and require one)
VISA for entry into Denmark (if not covered by permit or VISA free. travel)
