A Real Love Story in the Smoky Mountains | Fletcher & Reagan

Some couples are easy.

Fletcher and Reagan were never going to want something stiff, performative, or overly produced. Their relationship is joyful, affectionate, playful, grounded — and deeply real. Best friends who genuinely enjoy being together, their chemistry is effortless and unmistakable.

Their story started long before this proposal. They knew each other as kids, briefly dated in middle school, went their separate ways — and then found their way back to each other years later. A simple check-in after an accident turned into time together, and eventually into five and a half years of shared life.

This Smoky Mountains proposal was designed to feel exactly like them. From the flow of the day to what came after, everything was planned so they didn’t have to think about logistics or decisions — they just got to be fully present in the moment.

One of the most meaningful parts of this proposal is something you don’t just see — you hear.

Fletcher recorded a personal audio message for Reagan, woven into the final proposal video. Though hesitant at first, he trusted the idea, and the result is a message that’s honest, thoughtful, and unmistakably his. It later became a surprise she wasn’t expecting, delivered months after the proposal — a keepsake she’ll be able to return to for years.

The session itself unfolded effortlessly.
They laughed.
They danced.
They flirted.
They stayed wrapped up in each other the entire time.

And everything else faded into the background.
