Peggy, born 1943, and Ronny McCoy born 1945 in Texas. They was not related but performed as a brother and sister act in a rockabilly/hillbilly style similar to the Collins Kids.
Billboard Country & Western review Oct 13 1958:"The rockabilly duo delivers this novelty rocker with appeal. Their approach reminds somewhat of the Collins Kids. It is a cute side that can move in both pop and country and western."
Ronny McCoy is now living in California where he owns a recording studio. This is what he told me about recording this song:
"Making those records were a big highpoint in my life. Here's a little info from the sessions: Guitar leads where from Hank (Sugarfoot) Garland, Floyd Cramer played piano, Buddy Harmon on drums and Jerry Byrd on bass. Chet Atkins played some rhythm on some of the tracks...can't remember which."
