Is Metroid: Zero Mission a Great Remake?

Metroid: Zero Mission is the 2004 remake to the 1986 Metroid on NES, becoming the first remake in the 2D Metroid series. As someone who thought that the skeleton and ideas for the original game was there, Zero Mission made me excited to see what new hardware & a better grasp on the franchise could do to the game. Is Metroid: Zero Mission a 5-star remake? Let's restart.
