We woke up to an incredible view of Ho Chi Minh City from the Hilton Saigon—and decided to spend the day chasing one thing: Vietnam’s best bánh mì.
But first, breakfast. Then it’s time to check out and head to our Airbnb in the heart of Japan Town, a hidden gem of Saigon that really comes to life at night.
After settling in, Tay goes on the hunt for a proper nail salon (easier said than done), while Kyle finds a great spot for a massage. Along the way, we explore multiple districts and stumble into unexpected street festivals filled with music, color, and culture.
When we finally track down a bánh mì spot that looks amazing… we hit a snag—they only take cash. Cue the side quest to find an ATM in the middle of Saigon. But in the end, it’s totally worth it.
We close out the evening wandering through Japan Town, as neon signs flicker on and the vibe shifts into something straight out of Tokyo.
A day that started simple turned into an unforgettable adventure. Come explore Saigon with us, one bite and one district at a time.
