Drum Major Derek Dean and Pipe Major Ian Stuart leading Huntly & District Pipe Band as they marched down Gordon Street in Huntly to the Market Square to celebrate the band's 75th anniversary. This was on Saturday 6th May 2023 during the Huntly Spring Fair on the Coronation weekend. The band are playing "Farewell to the Creeks" and "Glendaruel Highlanders".
Huntly and District Pipe Band are a recreational band, formed in 1948 by Gordon Highlanders returning home from service in WWII. The band wear Gordon tartan, which was devised by Forsyths of Huntly.
