Beatriz Carlini, addiction researcher and associate professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, is the lead author of a report that addresses the public health challenges of cannabis products highly concentrated with the psychoactive ingredient THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). The report is intended to help Washington State legislators understand the downsides of manufactured cannabis concentrates.
