We do suggest that you reuse it for skincare products such as lip balms, moisturizers, hair masks, skin creams and of course for making soaps.
Lard, rendered down from pork fat, acts as a natural barrier, locking in moisture and nourishing your skin. Its pH and fatty acids match ours.
And remember, the flavor of the oil can be influenced by what was previously fried in it.
