They say that the difference between tourists and travelers is tourists prioritize relaxation and entertainment, while travelers prioritize personal enrichment and discovery.
I have been a traveler most of the time and the best part of traveling is the journey itself. My latest Mindanao adventure took me on a 48-hour bus trip from Manila to Davao City by bus. Craving for more adventures, I decided to travel from Davao City to Lake Sebu in South Cotabato.
There is no direct transportation between the two, and so I had to take two bus rides and one van ride to reach the land of the T-Boli people.
First ride is from Davao City to GenSan, then followed by another ride to Koronadal City, and finally, a van ride to Lake Sebu.
It took me 8 hours to reach Lake Sebu, but it was fantastic journey of seeing the beautiful sceneries along the way.
