Grandma Vs. Mom: Who Cooks Better Dominican Lebanese Food? | National Geographic

Lorena Abreu, a stunt performer and content creator, brings her mom and grandma to the kitchen to swap dishes from their shared Dominican Lebanese heritage. They are cooking side-by-side, but there can only be one winner. Can mom make quipes half as tasty as grandma’s? Can grandma recreate the mouthwatering flavor of mom’s bistec with concón and beans?

Food connects us all: bridging generations, cultures, and traditions. But as each generation changes, so do our recipes. "Grandma Versus" is a cooking competition where grandmothers face off against family members in a recipe swap challenge. What do we learn about our past and our future when we cook together?
