Allegro Playacar is an All Inclusive Resort in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. How is it? It is a beautiful 4-star beachfront family resort situated on the best beach stretch in Playa Del Carmen, one of Mexico's top beach destinations. The resort has 286 rooms and is approximately an 80-minute drive from Cancun International Airport. Embraced by a Caribbean landscape, any of the rooms gives the ideal atmosphere for relaxing and thoroughly enjoying paradise. The check-in process went quickly with no hassle, and we received our room at 3:00 PM. The resort provides a buffet, a pizza place, and three a la carte restaurants: Mexican, Asian, and Italian. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant since the food was good and the outdoor setting was lovely, with wonderful service. The main buffet was pleasant and wide, with few meal options but fresh cuisine. The resort's main asset is, of course, the beach, as well as the numerous pools and a swim-up bar that face the beach. The drinks were good, with plenty of cocktail selections, but nothing extraordinary and comparable to those at most good four-star resorts. We had little trouble finding a beach chair on the beach, but by 11:00 AM, everything was almost full. Those who enjoy walking on the beach can find several kilometers of barrier-free sand to explore. Also, if you prefer shopping or taking nighttime strolls, the resort is close to a small shopping area.

To summarize, a solid, beautiful 4-star resort that is reasonably priced and located in a private gated neighborhood with a magnificent beach, making it a good choice for a budget safe trip.

Beach 5/5 Stars (One of Mexico's finest beaches, with white sand and azure water.)
Reception - 5/5 Stars (Friendly, helpful, and experienced, with a warm welcome.)
Service – 4.5/5 Stars (Overall, the service was good, except for a few disorganized staff members at the lunch buffet.)
Buffet – 4/5 Stars – (Breakfast and dinner buffets were good; however, the lunch buffet was too small and can not accommodate so many people. We recommend retaining the lunch buffet in the same location where they serve breakfast and dinner.)
Restaurants – 4/5 Stars (Three a la carte restaurants: Mexican, Asian, and Italian, all of which were not open every day except for the Mexican. Sandals with stylish shorts and shirts are appropriate.)
Rooms – 4/5 Stars (The room was small and outdated, but everything worked properly. Thank you to our maid for doing an excellent job cleaning and organizing our room every day.)
Sleep Quality – 4.5/5 Stars (Good quality mattress.)
Cleanliness – 5/5 Stars (Well-organized and clean, with each employee always contributing.)
Internet- 4.5/5 Stars (Good speed overall.)
