*NOTE: It was brought to my attention by a thoughtful viewer that I had misread the part of the Automa rule book discussing how the Automa advanced on research tracks for both types of "Advance Research Area" actions. The Automa CAN advance to level 5 (provided they have already removed the advanced tech tile in a previous action). Please look in the comments for more information. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused!
In this episode of Solo Playthroughs, Greg plays Gaia Project for the first time on the channel. With a 17-card deck created by Automa Factory, one-person Gaia Project presents a top-notch and dynamic experience for the solo gamer. The faction of Nevlas benefits from being able to turn charged power into knowledge, as well as, after its planetary institute is built, its ability to count its charged power as double for most purposes. Meanwhile, playing against Terrans as the Automa means that the Automa will spread around the board far and wide wherever Transdim planets exist. In light of this colonizing advantage for the Automa, the challenge for Nevlas is to charge up the knowledge tracks enough to build a point-producing engine that will translate into victory. Is Nevlas up to the task?!
