Transcript: According to Teslarati, Tesla’s 2025 spring software update is rolling out soon and it’s packed with some highly requested features—starting with adaptive headlights for U.S. and Canadian drivers. These new matrix-style headlights automatically adjust high beams to reduce glare while maximizing visibility at night.

Other updates include more flexible route planning where you can now choose routes based on speed, available amenities, or fewer charging stops. Tesla has also added the ability to save custom trunk and frunk opening heights based on specific locations—useful for tight garages.

Cybertruck owners are getting a few exclusives, like automatic switching to Comfort Drive Mode when Autopilot is engaged, and a new Lane Departure Avoidance assist feature.

For newer Model S, 3, X, and Y vehicles, side cameras will now be included in both dashcam and Sentry Mode recordings, increasing camera coverage from four to six views.

Smaller but handy touches include the ability to avoid highways in trip settings, keep accessory power on after exiting the vehicle if battery is above 20%, and improvements to media apps like Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music.

No extra cost for the software update—it’s over-the-air and coming soon.
