This time I am visiting Scotland's most accessible island, Great Cumbrae. Due to the short ferry 10-minute Calmac ferry crossing, Cumbrae island is a popular day-trip destination. Despite its small size, this Scottish island is home to around 1,300 residents.

The Isle of Great Cumbrae’s 10-mile loop road is a popular cycling route and takes about an hour to complete at a leisurely pace. If you don’t have a bike with you, bike rentals are available in Millport.
