Redbirds And Bluebirds Take Flight RFW Full ride From South ferry Loop To 239 St Yard Loop And Back

To mark 20 years since the Redbird’s retirement and 60 years since the Bluebirds entered service, this train made up of both car types took a celebratory round-trip ride starting and ending at the historic Old South Ferry station. South ferry loop has since been closed to the public since 2017. The Train went up on the 4/5/6 line to the 2/5 line in the Bronx. The train will then turn around in the 239th Street Yard and Maintenance Shop for a special behind-the-scenes view before heading back downtown to Old South Ferry station.
