Factions of the Left

In the United States we have two political parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, who broadly stand on Liberal and Conservative positions respectively, Left-wing and Right-wing. But because America does not have a multi-party system, Conservatism and Republicanism (along with Liberalism and Democratism) are big tent titles used by various factions of American politics to define themselves, and this can range widely, from isolationists to interventionists, from social conservatives to fiscal conservatives. In today's politics video, and as a follow up to our video on the Factions of American Conservatism, we will analyze and explain the various factions of American Liberalism or the American Left-Wing, specifically the most politically active and mainstream member factions of the Democrat party.
