Gary Numan | Remember I Was Vapour | Live 1979

This is part of my ongoing project to clean up, upscale and remaster 'The Touring Principle' concert footage.
It was originally shot on film on September 28 1979 and subsequently released on VHS in 1980. When the 'remastered' version appeared on DVD in 2009, the digital effects had thankfully been removed but the footage itself had not been cleaned up and there were thousands of instances of dirt speckles throughout as well as artifacts from the tape transfer.
I've have gone though the footage frame by frame and manually cleaned up all the instances of dirt and damage that I could find. It's a slow ongoing process. A five minute song contains 7500 frames to go though so I'm doing it on a song by song basis.
'Remember I was Vapour' was a new song in 1979 and audiences would not have heard it before. It was originally part of a suite comprising 'Bombers' (which wasn't filmed), 'Remember I was Vapour' and 'On Broadway'.
I've used the audio from 'Living Ornaments 79' as it includes his brief introduction to the song instead of the fake applause used on the Touring Principle release.
I've upscaled the resulting footage to HD and added some film grain which would have been present on the original.
Ideally I'd like to see the source footage scanned at HD quality (or higher), cleaned up and officially released on blu ray. As this seems unlikely to happen, I hope you will appreciate my efforts to approach that quality.
