Dimitris Managas, age 87, goes ski touring for the first time at 3-5 Pigadia Ski Center in Greece. This is the final scene from the short film "Astamatitos", which also tells the story of Managas' first adventure on skis on Mount Olympos, over sixty years ago. Also featured in this short film is Asterios Serdaris, for whom Mr. Managas was a mentor. The movie is a classic tale of student becoming teacher, set in the beautiful mountains of North Greece.
