CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RECAP — College Shocks the Reigning Champs
In a stunning knockout finale, Team College wrecked absolute havoc on the defending champions, holding Raptors 2.0 to just 39 points — a season-low and completely out of character for one of the league’s most explosive offenses.
College controlled every inch of the floor, dominating both the paint and perimeter in a 57–39 defensive masterpiece. They shot 23/51 (45.1%), went 7/10 (70%) from the stripe, and crashed the glass to win the rebounding battle 36–28 (including 9–8 on the offensive boards).
The defensive strategy paid off. College’s pressure forced 10 turnovers and produced 7 steals, limiting the Raptors to a frigid 15/51 (29.4%) shooting and just 6/10 (60%) at the line. Raptors managed only 9 assists and never found rhythm against College’s relentless closeouts and interior presence.
