According to Canadian think tank The Fraser Institute, Winnipeg is the most violent city in Canada, with an average violent crime rate of 675 violent crimes per 100,000 people. That is more than twice the national average at 262.

I went to Winnipeg to investigate for myself why this city is so violent, and what is being done to keep residents safe.
