The MEI curriculum blends creative insight with industry strategy and offers meaningful ways for students to engage with professionals shaping today’s entertainment landscape.

The program includes distinctive experiential opportunities such as Belmont in Scandinavia and the Bonnaroo class, giving students firsthand exposure to global entertainment ecosystems. MEI is available as both a major and a minor, allowing students to tailor their studies to career paths in music, film, sports, digital media, marketing, and content development.

This year, we also launched the one-year Master of Arts in Media and Entertainment Industries, expanding our graduate-level options for those seeking advanced professional training.

About Belmont University's Curb College:
In 1973, Belmont first established a music business program designed to prepare students for operational, administrative, creative and technical careers in the music industry. The program grew in both size and reputation, leading to the advent of the full Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business in 2003.
