Professional Pancake Artist Creates - Baby Owlbear Pancake Art (Dungeons and Dragons)

Hey all, Dan (@danieljamesdrake) here. A few months back I attempted to commit to a series I called "The Monthly Monster", in which once a month I would make a fantasy creature based on suggestions from y'all in the comments. I failed to keep up with it - we were often slammed with events and I had trouble finding the time and energy to come into the studio to make content unless there was a hard obligation to do so.

Since the pandemic hit and events disappeared, that equation has shifted, and on the last day I came in to make content I figured I could try this series again. I left off on an "Owlbear", but I felt like I kind of phoned that Owlbear in. I remember I was exhausted and depressed and I think that shows in the piece I made. So I decided to try that Owlbear again - a different twist this time. I used an original digital painting that I found on Pinterest by Sarah Lindstrom ( @sarahlindstromart ) as a loose reference/inspiration, but took a bit of a more colorful, impulsive direction with it. What do you think? (Check Sarah's work out, too - she's brilliant!)

Anyway, what monster would you like to see me tackle for next month? It's spooky season, innit?
