BRITISH AIRWAYS A320 BA1467 Economy Class, Inverness to London Heathrow, Delayed And Informed (4K)

After just one day in Inverness (I will definitely be back...) I needed to get back to London for my flight home to Sydney..

Whilst I had a flight booked the following day, I thought it would be safer just to get another ticket to ensure I did not have any issues (using Frequent Flyer points), which ended up being a good move due to the storms that delayed a lot of flights the following day.

For a small airport, they had a third party lounge, which had everything you could want prior to a short flight, Coffee, Tea, Snacks, Cold Drinks... they even were offering Bacon or Sausage on a roll as a small meal.

Boarding was on time, always love boarding from the ramp/apron, and for this flight I opted for an exit row.

Everything was going to schedule until the Captain came over the PA stating there was an issue with the Right (#2) engine, requiring a stop, reset and restart... thankfully that did the trick and we were on our way.

During the flight some of the cloud formations were amazing to look at, a complimentary snack and water were provided, and before long we were descending into London Heathrow.

Once at the gate at terminal 5, it was off and down to collect my bag... this took quite some time, and then it was a short walk to go downstairs to catch the Underground to Hammersmith.
