How to make a DIY outboard head stock lathe spider with simple turning and drilling of aluminum. In this video I show using a spindex or indexer, 3 law chuck turning, ER32 chuck turning and CNC boring. The spyder is used to keep long stock from vibrating while turning. This does not require a threaded spindle.
