How to make a simple IF amplifier in the 440 KC-470 KC range for (say) a radio. The video tells everything + gives the schematic & a demo about how to make a sharp 455 KC IF filter (or for whatever other electronic purpose) with a few cheap ceramic filters (normally used in remote controls) made for 455 KC. Could be also (say) 460 KC or whatever.
You can use here these “single” ceramic filters made to resonate on 440 KC, 450 KC, 455 KC, 460 KC in this electronic HF setup.
Talking about Richards radiochannel (Allamericanfive radio): his channel is here / allamericanfiveradio
Much information about radio technology there! Very valuable and unique information about tube technology is there, he also has a free book about tube technology.
Please note: at the moment (upload 21 november 2021) this electronic circuit (filter) has an extremely high output impedance. That is logical, because we look to the “open end” of a ceramic resonator. Such an “open end” (= extremely high impedance source) needs a high impedance input amplifier, like a tube grid or a FET Gate.
When you know something about electronics the term “impedance transformation” must be common. Though, in this case, the best idea to connect the output of that ceramic 455 KC (or whatever ceramic) filter on its resonance frequency will be via the grid of a tube (triode) or the Gate of a FET.
That will (thus) be in video 2 of the series in the future: a FET impedance transformer + (I think) a bipolar transistor that will amplify everything (= the IF signal to a good usable level for AM detection via a normal Germanium diode.

The oscillator coil (visible in this video, now, is made to generate frequencies that are 455 KC apart from the frequencies on the long wave antenna coil, making the frequency transformation effective.
You can contact me via email when you have questions about my published circuits. I always ask for a picture of what you have made + a problem description; I ask to communicate.
My You Tube channel trailer is here: • Radiofun232 on YouTube, find working & tes... When you search, search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview. You can also search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in.
My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites, giving not probable re-wiring, etc.
Some persons try to find gold via my circuits. I take distance from all these fake claims. I cannot help that these things happen. Upload 21 november 2021.
