The House of Representatives’ so-called mega panel resumes its investigation into anomalous flood control projects on Tuesday, September 9.
The panel, also called “infra comm,” is composed of the committees on public accounts, public works and highways, and good government and accountability.
The House resumed its probe just a day after top flood control contractors Sarah and Curlee Discaya admitted before the Senate blue ribbon committee that they gave kickbacks to several congressmen and government officials.
Sarah and other top flood control contractors are expected to appear before the panel after being subpoenaed.
House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos earlier said the House does not have the credibility to investigate anomalies related to flood control projects.
