Five years after scientist at CERN cause a world ending cataclysm, a mercenary makes his way through the apocalyptic landscape of America now infested with demonic entities to a foretold sanctuary.

In a groundbreaking experiment, researchers at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) have announced the successful opening of a portal to another dimension using the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As the portal stabilized, a swarm of otherworldly entities began to emerge. Described by witnesses as demonic in appearance, these beings exuded an aura of malevolence and destruction. Security footage from the LHC control room shows the creatures—towering, with glowing eyes and razor-sharp appendages—pouring out of the rift.
