Ich küsse Ihre Hand, Madame (Erwin /Rotter) - Alfred Vogel mit Orchester, Beka 1928 (Germany)
NOTE: It's one of rare German renditions of that wonderful tango (known also under English title: I Kiss Your Little Hand, Madame). Alfred Vogel was a typical Weimar era German "crooner" (I put it into quotes, as European "crooners" of that era - on contrary to American seductive and warm baritones - usually had some operatic-tenor note in their voices) who sung solo and as refrain vocalist with many Weimar Republic dance bands. The accompanying band sounds to my ear as Otto Dobrin\dt's "Dobbri-Saxophone Orchestra" (Beka house band in the turn of 1920/30s). Unfortunately, I could not get rid of some residual surface noise (like someone was roller-skating right by the door of recording studio).
