Continuing their interest in affordable integrated amplifiers, Mike and David audition this left-field contender from Canada. Although not as well known as popular UK designs from the likes of Arcam, Cyrus, Exposure and Naim, this Quebec-based company makes quality stuff.
The guys think it's a charming little thing, with surprisingly fine sound and excellent build. And for Rush obsessive Mike, anything from his hero band's home country has got to be good! They reckon it's well worth auditioning if you're in the market for something pure and simple.
Each episode of Hi-Fi Riff features the guys' unedited, unexpurgated views about all manner of weird and wonderful hi-fi designs. Business executive Mike has a wealth of knowledge from previous hi-fi retail experience, and David has written about hi-fi for thirty years.
