This video features Osprey, White-faced Ibis, and approximately 15 additional bird species, photographed and filmed as part of my ongoing birding, photography, and videography work.
The video builds on skills developed through recent instruction, including wildlife videography techniques learned from Emmit Aries and bird photography fundamentals from Master Class – Introduction to Bird Photography, taught by Jacqueline Deely as part of the Morro Bay Bird Festival.
Compared to earlier videos, this piece reflects a more deliberate approach to both capture and presentation; thinking in terms of scenes, movement, and context for video, while applying photographic principles such as light, composition, and subject behavior to still imagery. The goal is a more cohesive and finished result while continuing to develop skills in the field and in post-production.
This video reflects an ongoing learning process, including both field capture and post-production workflow.
