Let’s board and tour an actual WWII-era fletcher class naval destroyer, one of only 4 in existence today! Learn about what life was like for the courageous men that served aboard this ship during World War II and Korea. Find out what the ship and its men overcame in battle, including two kamikaze attacks that were deadly. See why it was one of the best and most challenging tours we’ve ever taken.

Let’s take a walk and discuss the historic Charlestown Navy Yard what it has to offer, it’s amazing past and a very interesting new art installation. 

Then we’ll hop on the Charlestown Ferry for a ride through the harbor with amazing views of the Boston skyline. Finally, after getting turned around, we wind up in one of our favorite neighborhoods, Boston’s North End where we review a world famous pizza spot. A. long walk back to the car and the Charlestown Navy yard with an amazing sendoff for the night courtesy of the USS Constitution at the very spot where Paul Revere got off of his boat on April 19, 1775.
