Today is a very important day for me. While I've been away, I've been practicing and learning new skills. For example, my vocals and dancing weren't great to begin with, so I want to improve. I'm also learning arranging, which I find so much fun. So, I thought about it and decided to write a song for you.
This song is a tribute to my downer side, and also to you. When writing it, I had to think about a lot of things: the lyrics, the melody, the arrangement, the sources, the sound effects, the harmonies. I think the arrangement is relatively easy, but writing the lyrics is a bit more challenging. I have to think about how to express my own personality and how to write something that others can understand.
After a long period of agonizing, I finally came up with the lyrics that I feel truly reflect my feelings at the time. I also hope to release these inner thoughts through the songs I make. After I had everything I wanted, I asked my teacher to help me with the final recording. My teacher and I both think it sounds great, and we'd like to know if you like it.
