In the GM loot pool you can obtain other weapons that have a CHANCE at dropping weapons with the 'accelerated origin' trait on alternative weapons its not just the scout.

Sometimes when killing a champion you may get a Masterworked weapon, if so its with the unique trait and seems exclusive to vanguard alert activities. I'm not referring to the star wars weapons, those are just RNG.
