Maxson Goh Films Metroline Manchester TEH170 (SN63 VTX) , the ADL Enviro400H Euro 6 prototype hybrid. Built in 2013 as a demo unit, this bus was developed by Alexander Dennis in collaboration with BAE Systems and features a series hybrid drivetrain: the diesel engine acts as a generator powering electric motors that drive the wheels, with regenerative braking storing energy in batteries.
