This student work should be viewed in conjunction with the IBDP Music Guide with particular reference to pages 64-70, which deals with the assessment of this component, only for higher-level students.
This is part of a series of pages on InThinking/music to help IBDP Music teachers and students navigate their way through the course.
Several documents need to be submitted for this component, all of which are included on the site (this video is only part of that submission).
Along with the actual mark that the student received, there is information relating to the teacher's justification of grades (required for internally assessed material).
This submission was part of the May 2024 assessment period.
The student writes that his vision for this work is to compose a wind quintet piece portraying a picturesque scene. This unfolds during the course of a single day from twilight to sunset.
