Coho Salmon Fishing with eggs and spinners. Bites came on spinners and lot more on eggs. 22 September 2022 Carbon River in Orting Washington behind treatment plant at my favorite drift on this river. It was running lot clearer than opening day. Carbon River joins the Puyallup River which there are people already catching salmon in the lower stretches of the Puyallup. Salmon Fishing Reports on the Puyallup River Salmon Fishing Reports shows good shots of fish periodically moving through with some silvers starting to show. Mix of hatchery chinook or Kings along with some natives - wild Kings that you must release. Many of those hatchery fish are headed to the Carbon and hopefully provide us opportunities to catch some.
