Scary Thieves video for their first single on EMI.

Filmed at a disused swimming baths in Islington, London.

The music track was produced by Steve Nye and released with various re-mixes. The group were managed by Andy Ferguson who also managed The Undertones, and Thomas Dolby, assisted by Nancy Philips, who went on to manage The Spice Girls and Sporty Spice (Melanie Chisholm)

The band toured with Nik Kershaw in the UK culminating with 3 nights at the Hammersmith Apollo.

Since then the band have achieved some notoriety due to the complex nature of their demise, derived from rumours about scurrilous activities at the time. The music has achieved cult status with 80's aficionados searching for obscure synth' nuggets, and highlighted by compilation album releases on the Hardest Hits series. The 12" extended version of Tell Me Girl, produced by Art of Noise J.J. Jeczalik and the band is still in great demand as a club record.
