My last major exam is finally over… and instead of sleeping like a normal person, I did something totally unexpected. The moment I stepped out after the final paper, my brain said: “Enough. It’s time to escape.” And yes — that same night, at midnight, I packed up fast and literally ran out of the University of Hyderabad like a movie scene. No long planning, no big goodbye speech… just me, my bag, and a secret destination.

I started my journey around 2:30 AM from campus. The roads were quiet, the campus lights were still on, and my mind was a mix of relief, excitement, and that “what am I doing?” feeling. But one thing was clear: the exam chapter was closed, and a new chapter was starting right now.

Next stop: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad) — about 35 km from UoH.
And here comes the twist: usually people book IndiGo for this route, but because of the recent chaos and cancellations, I didn’t want to take a risk. News reports said IndiGo faced major disruptions earlier in December and the regulator even asked for schedule cuts.
So I booked Air India Express instead — and honestly, that decision gave me peace of mind.

From Hyderabad, I flew towards Odisha and by morning — around 7:30–8:30 AM — I landed in Bhubaneswar. The tiredness was real, but the excitement was bigger. Because this was not just a trip… this was my internship journey.

Destination revealed: IIT Bhubaneswar — the permanent campus at Argul (near Jatni), Khordha, Odisha – 752050.
This campus is known for being green, peaceful, and seriously beautiful — about 30 km from Bhubaneswar city, around 35 km from the airport, and roughly 8 km from Khurda Road Junction.
